The event style is Q&A so we can ask questions to understand the processes and mindset that have enabled each founder to be successful in their own unique way.

Since launch in 2009, Rebekah has grown Hakanoa Handmade from a stall on the side of the road to an award-winning product loved by baristas and food enthusiasts across the country.

She’s faced all the hard things that come with starting a beverage business, and some, given the complications that come with producing a living, bottled product.

As well as continuing to grow Hakanoa Handmade, she also now runs workshops to help food producers overcome some of the hurdles that come with starting a sustainable food business in NZ.

👉 Dave Cameron, LearnCoach

Dave is the co-founder and CEO of LearnCoach, NZ's largest education platform for secondary and tertiary students. Since launch in 2012, he's grown LearnCoach from a user base of 150 students to 150,000. He was awarded the 2018 Young New Zealander of the Year and is passionate about ways to support the next generation of young people.

LearnCoach is Dave's second startup. We're looking forward to hearing his story, his vision for education, and his biggest lessons along his startup journey so far.
